DescriptionHey there! My name is Jillian. I’ve been writing poetry since I was a kid. I’m currently 44, so lots of life experiences have been written on paper. Recently some of my poems have been picked up and are currently in production to become songs. It kind of took off from there. I have hundreds of potential songs. The genre of the type of music is something I’m completely open to. I’d love to meet some musicians looking for some lyrics/songs. THE SIMPLE UNDOING
 
The demon inside you has scared my Angel away
She’s not far
She has no fear
She protects the pain I feel every day
When she is near
 
Things are unclear
Yet she will not run away
The torture of every day
She’s trying to find a way
To take me away one day
 
Keep your demon
He can try to play
My angel is much stronger
She won’t take this any longer
 
Your demon will find a wrath
One where he cannot deter the path
My angel gives me strength
Something once hard to find
Your demon has no chance, when our thoughts unwind

Maybe that’s my path
A feeling that will  not pass

Your demon has fear
When my angel is near
She has an unbreakable way
To make the day feel kind

My Angel is in my core
It does  not matter anymore
You can no longer hurt me to the core
It’s not like it was before
My Angel knows I need more
A Spirit with a heart of gold
I listen to her wisdom and all I am told
 
Your demon can cast no spell
My Angel knows them well
Enjoy the soul you have dimmed
It will not be long my friend
